This is going to be AMAZING!
I’m looking forward to celebrating you, sharing your story and creating beautiful portraits to share with the world.
Before we begin to plan your dream photoshoot …
A few house keeping items, because I want there to be no surprises!
A very important part of this project is sharing your images and your story with others, to empower and uplift.
As we reviewed via email previous, I want to remind you the following.
By participating in the project, you agree to:
- Allow Kathy to share your before and after styling photos on her website, social media & marketing materials.
- Allow Kathy to interview me about my story, why I am participating in this project and about my portrait experience.
- Allow Kathy to share my story on her website, social media, marketing materials and at the art gallery exhibition party.
The Studio
598 E Chatham Street, Cary NC 27511
Turn off of Chatham at the Biryani Maxx restaurant.
Keep straight, and go all the way to the end of the parking lot. I’ll be looking for you!
There is plenty of parking.
What to Wear
I recommend 3-5 outfits, include accessories! Variety is the key to achieving a full portfolio of images – think color (light, dark), texture (lace, velvet) & necklines (off shoulder, sweetheart).

Hair + Makeup
Your session includes full professional hair & make up. This can be as natural or as glam as you want it to be!
Be sure to screenshot any favorite photos hair/make up photos of yourself, or any ideas that you have. Bring them with you on session day.
Not sure? No worries. Our team is the best in Raleigh, they will give you the perfect look for you to compliment your style.
Day Of
Arrive to the studio with clean, moisturized skin, no make up.
Your hair should be clean and dry, lightly styled is fine.
Hang clothes on rack in the dressing area. Keep ALL PERSONAL ITEMS in the dressing area, including any water, food, drinks, phone, purse.
We ask that you minimize the amount of personal items you bring to the studio as much as possible.
Now that the ‘new normal’ is complete, its time to sit back, relax and enjoy professional hair & make up. Hair & make up application takes about one hour, and then we will be begin photographing!
Cell Phone Pics
A few fun behind the scenes snaps are fun and encouraged, but please refrain from taking any pictures during the photo shoot. Thank you.
Refreshments
Until further notice, I will not be providing any snacks.
Please bring a water bottle and a light snack – I suggest a granola bar, nuts or cheese.
Modeling is hard work, and you will need to keep up your energy!
Image Reveal + Ordering
About two weeks after your session, your images will be ready for viewing.
All decision makers MUST be present at the ordering appointment.
Any orders placed after your ordering appointment will be subject to a 50% upcharge on total purchase.
TWO OPTIONS for your ordering appointment, depending your comfort level :
IN STUDIO : Your portraits, displayed on the image reveal wall.
Adhering to all protocols, we will wash hands, wear masks & distancing.
ZOOM video call. I will share my screen with you.
Purchase only what you love and cannot live without.
Take your purchased prints and digital files home with you!
Ordering appointments typically last about one hour.

Every image you purchase includes the corresponding digital file.
No minimum, only purchase what you love and can’t live without.
Same as cash payment & pre-payment plan options available.
Contracts
The Studio Policies Contract and Model Release Contract must be signed before entering the studio.
You will receive these contracts via email, and will be able to E-Sign.
