I was so thrilled when my dear roommate from years gone past asked me to meet her & her family at the beach this summer for her family reunion! Yes, this has been in the plans for over six months now , & I hadn’t seen my friend in 18+ years! (Ahh the wonders of Facebook!)
My family and I drove in on a Friday midday, to meet this family on the beach in the late afternoon. As soon as we crossed the first waterway, I couldn’t help but notice the flags whipping in the wind. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the wind, but perhaps not as much when it is ‘whipping’! We managed by utilizing lots of bobby pins and repositioning the long haired ladies so their hair wouldn’t be covering their faces! A HUGE thank you to my unexpected and absolutely treasured assistant Jo for being my second set of eyes and hands. Couldn’t have done it without you Jo!
