And I get it. A lot of us are still working from home, and if your daily outfit consists of stretchy pants and cozy tops, you’re not alone (hello, same here). But don’t let that stop you from showing up and shining in your branding session. That’s where I come in.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
From the moment you book with me, we start planning together. I’ll guide you through what photographs well and what fits your brand. We can schedule a Zoom call, or meet up in my Cary NC portrait studio to go over options. Some of my clients even bring their entire wardrobe to the studio, and we sort it out right there! And if you want help shopping? I’ve got you! ’ve helped many clients find the perfect outfit online or in-store that makes them feel like a million bucks.
Variety is the Key
One outfit is never enough. I recommend planning for a light look, a dark look, and a pop of color—plus at least one outfit that feels very you. Want to wear your brand colors? Perfect! We’ll talk about your brand identity ahead of time so your images align with your website, social media, and overall vibe.
Think about mixing casual and polished options: maybe jeans and a blazer, then a dress or jumpsuit, and something with a little edge or flair for fun. Fitted clothing with a bit of stretch is ideal—it flatters your shape without making you feel stiff or uncomfortable.
Confidence is the Best Accessory
Above all else, wear something that makes you feel good. If you’re tugging or adjusting constantly, it’ll show in the photos. If you light up in a certain blouse or feel powerful in your go-to heels? Bring it! That confidence translates on camera, and my goal is to capture the most empowered version of you.

Here’s the best part: this isn’t just a headshot. Your session can be so much more. Want a few polished LinkedIn-style portraits? Of course. Need something casual for your online dating profiles, Facebook or Instagram? We’ve got that covered too.
Some clients bring their partner at the end for a sweet couples photo (since the last time was likely at the wedding!). Others want that magazine-style glamour shot with wind in their hair. And if you’re feeling bold? We can finish with a stunning, understated boudoir portrait that celebrates your confidence and strength.
